What is an EPEC Trainer? A
qualified physician or healthcare professional who has completed
a "Become An EPEC Trainer" conference. EPEC Trainer certification
is solely issued by the EPEC Project. The EPEC Project has a network
of over 1800 EPEC Trainers.
Training tools: Easily adaptable
educational materials are available for trainers and attendees.
The Trainer's Guide consists of the full EPEC Curriculum and provides
instructions, guidelines, trainer's notes, and resources that will
help Trainers complete a successful EPEC program. Visit our materials
page for a listing of all available
EPEC training materials.
Video: The EPEC Project is
pleased to present the complete "Become An EPEC Trainer"
conference held in March, 2000 in Chicago, Illinois. Video segments
are available for Low
band (56K dial up modem) or High
band (DSL, LAN) download in Windows
Media Player format.
Feedback: The EPEC Project
requests that trainers complete and submit tracking data and evaluation
forms for each EPEC program. Trainers will complete a tracking sheet
capturing overall program data and distribute evaluation forms to
attendees for completion:
- A Tracking
Sheet summarizing each educational event using the EPEC Curriculum.

The following are available in the Trainer's Guide:
- Pre-Test Data Form - current knowledge of end-of-life care
- Conference Evaluation - completed after each program session
- Post-Test Data Form - completed at the conclusion of the program
